Solstice, Sculpture and Sound

Winter solstice ceremony on December 21st, from 3:45pm to 4:45pm, at Austin’s Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center. Before the sun sets on the longest night of the year, join artist Alicia Philley for music, candlelight and blessings at her site-specific installation “The Seeds We Plant.” Philley has invited local harpist and sound therapist Andrea Cortez and yoga and meditation teacher Mari Bird to provide a calming soundscape and words of light and wisdom.
